FYI

Short Answer: You CANNOT.
.
CURRENTLY ...
.
That REMAINS regardless, that is by "Design".
.
Regardless of what we, know; or, think we know, in MANY cases (but, certainly NO all) there is ALWAYS the possibility that there may be OTHER Children (in some sort of "Parent-Child" Relationship) that we personally do not know about - that come to light later.
.
Other than those Couples that did not have any MORE Children ...
.
The SAME applies to BOTH, the "+ Spouse"; and, the "+ Children", for Adults who, "Never Married"; and, DID NOT have any CHILDREN.
.
And, the SAME also applies to BOTH, the "+ Spouse"; and, the "+ Children", for Infants (and, Children) that Died very young and were, of course, naturally, "Never Married"; and, DID NOT have any CHILDREN.
.
I know that this does not help; but, I hope that this gives you some perspective.

ps: We can live in hope ... who knows what might happen with the "Design" in the future.

Thanks. I am not talking about the + Children. I have an extra box beneath current Children's names on the tree that was added by mistake. That's the one I want to remove.

what do you mean by "extra box"
is this a living or deceased person?
if deceased can you send ID of record?

We do not quite understand what you man by "... I have an extra box beneath current Children's names on the tree that was added by mistake. ..."
.
Can you send a "Screenshot" [redacting (ie. blanking) any personal details] of what you are referring to?
.
On the "Pedigree" 'View' (eg. "Landscape"), under "Children", after the last Child; or, even if there are NO Children, there is ALWAYS the "+ Add Child" (ie. what you might call 'Box'), is this what you are referring to? IF; so; THEN, that is by "Design"; and, CANNOT be "Removed".
.
Or, are you referring to the fact that you have added a Child who should not be there, in a particular family?
.
Please advise.
