Making corrections in Memories section.
How do I correct or suggest a correction for mistaken information in the Memories section? Samuel Forsgren, K42G G6X, was named after his father, Samuel "Roy" Forsgren, but someone inserted a caption on one of his images identifying his grandparents as his parents. Someone wrote a comment for this image in 2016, giving the correct information, yet the error remains

If you contributed the Memories item, you can edit the Description. Stories are the only items that do not have a Description field.
You cannot edit a description which you did not contribute; however, you can add a comment. The comment box is located beneath the photo or document.

I have sent a message to Beverly Smith who has made this error and the one on Mary Hammerland's page of her and her sisters.

Thanks Loene,
Your answer seems to be that no one other than the originator can correct an error in Memories. However, what if the person who placed the false information is no longer able to do so?

Also, I don't remember complaining about Mary Hammerland's Memory Page.
