Is this an error/system issue?
I have noticed today that I can no longer see 'similar historical records' to the side of a record that I might select.
I rely on this tool as it keeps me on the direct family line that I might be following at the time.
Is this an error/system problem?
Thanks
Anna

@AnnaKurz Rogers Just did a search, and I see Similiar Historical Records as usual. Of course, not for every single record I open, but for a lot of them. You might want to give it another try in case it was a temporary glitch.

I just had a very quick look myself; and, it seem like you are correct (ie. 'onto something') ...
.
A couple of things ...
.
Firstly, for starters I am "Tagging" this general 'Question' of yours in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to the 'Group' being "FamilySearch.org Feedback", just in case.
.
Secondly, can I humbly suggest that YOU "Post" the 'Feedback' on THIS matter DIRECTLY to the (New) IDEAS Forum, which is the Replacement for the OLDER 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum (the Platform for which is ENDING tomorrow).
.
Here is a 'link' directly to that (New) IDEAS Forum:
.
IDEAS
This is the "GetSatisfaction" replacement.

.
Good Luck.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Brett. As this is the first time I have ever posted a query, still trying to work out my way around the forum. Thanks for the links - I will see if I can post there too.

Thanks so much @N Tychonievich . I've checked again this morning and still the same issue. Not sure if it matters but I'm searching German records. In anycase, I hope this can be resolved.

Awesome, glad to see other Aussies here
Re this issue, my goodness, I'm about to throw my laptop!
So frustrating that I can't use that side panel of similar historical records - it's doing my head in! I have so many German records to enter into my tree and without this tool, it's taking forever, but more importantly, I'm worried I'm missing things.
Grrrrrr.....
Still no word on an issue fix. Is there any way to contact FS directly for assistance? I've searched the site and can't find any technical support contact.
Cheers

Hello, N and Anna,
Sometimes it is a good idea to delete cache from the browser. I delete my Goodle.com cache by pressing together the Ctrl/Shift keys together with the Delete key. I always choose the Basic and the Last 4 weeks. No need to go overboard. Right?
You can search other browsers for they way to delete cache on the browser. It doesn't delete things on your device.
If it is a mobile app. Sometimes redownloading the FamilySearch app helps. AnitraW

The BEST way, is what you have done, through that (New) IDEAS Forum.
.
Sometimes it takes a little while for an "Official 'FamilySearch' Representative" to respond.
.
We have been told that "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives" (ie. Product Managers; and, Programmers/Engineers) do monitor that (New) IDEAS Forum.
.
I have already received some responses from "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives" to recent post in that that (New) IDEAS Forum.
[ But, then again, I can be a bit of a 'nudge' ... a bit of a nuisance ]

'Hang in there' ...
