but a good percent of passenger lists (for that era) are no longer extant

due to variosu reasons.

Question: Passenger Lists (ie. Manifests) ... from "WHERE" ... to "WHERE"!?

'FamilySearch' has Records from ALL around the World.

And, 'FamilySearch' is used by many from ALL around the World.

Thanks Dennis. I appreciate your help. I'm trying to locate my German ancestors who came here in the late 1600s. It's difficult.

The info I have are the names of the parents and the children that came with them and names of children left in the old country. I also have the name of the area where they apparently came from. One of the problems I'm finding is that the country or area of Germany changed hands frequently during the 1600s and 1700s between the French and other countries. What specifically do you need?
