Feature like compare-a-face, but against all images in FamilySearch?
I think it would be very useful to extend the compare-a-face tool to search all images in FamilySearch. Has this ever been considered? Thanks!

Just a thought ...
.
You might want to "Share" that feedback of yours in the 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum.
.
That Forum, has been going for many years; and, is more regularly monitored by the 'Familysearch', "(Product) Managers"; and, "Engineers (Programmers)".
.
Here is a direct link to that Forum:
.
https://www.familysearch.org/help/getsatisfaction/fastpass
.
The actual link can be found in a few places; but, especially, at the 'Bottom' of most pages/screens.
.
Just remember to leave the "Suggestion or Compliment" as selected/highlighted; and, select "Share Idea".
.
.
.
.
.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Brett. I just did that here: https://getsatisfaction.com/familysearch/topics/feature-like-compare-a-face-but-against-all-images-in-familysearch?rfm=1
Side note in case anyone reads this - I had to change my SameSite cookie settings in Chrome after two failed attempts to post - I suspect that's a big obstacle for new people trying to use that forum.

.
'G'Day', morning, from "Down Under".
.
'Yes', I just saw your post in the 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum.
.
NO responses as yet; but, do not worry, you do not always get a response; but, we have been advised that that Forum in "Monitored" by 'FamilySearch' Personnel - you may never get a response (except from other Users/Patrons).
.
Now ...
That said ...
.
As an aside ...
.
There is currently a problem/issue with regard to that Forum; and, 'Google' "Chrome", it has happened before.
.
Here is a 'link' to a "Reply" in that Forum, from an "Official 'FamilySearch' Representative", on how to address/fix that problem/issue:
.
.
If you can see this, here is an "Image" of that particular post ...
.
.
The 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum may be working just fine in Other "Browsers", it seems to be that there are some/many updates/changes to 'Google' "Chrome" that seem to 'break' things in that Forum.
.
I hope this helps further.

Wow ...
That was quick ...
.
You got a response from an "Official 'FamilySeach' Representative" in the 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum:
.
FamilySearch Moderator
.
Where it states:

Here is the reply from the engineers:
It has been, but it's fairly tricky to figure out, because of strict laws governing the use of facial recognition. Just as one example, we would likely never be able to do every memory, because people frequently upload photos of living individuals.
.
But we definitely love the idea of someone being able to find their lookalike anywhere in the tree!

I think that would be a great possibility! Can you imagine how that would help us sort out some of those unlabeled pictures in Great-grandma's photo album? I look forward to the day...
