Census records, birth index, death certificate, obituary. All of these will usually show other family members and relationships

Kaeli, Could you please give me a little more information. What is the PID (ID number in FamilySearch) and names, dates, and places. Sometimes a woman was married more than once and her second marriage shows her previous married name, rather than her maiden name. I've come across this quite often. Would love to help you!

Sometimes the maiden name recorded in a marriage record is just the name of the person before the marriage was performed. I.e, it is her married name from a previous marriage. Sometimes if you can find that previous marriage record, it will show her with her true maiden name.
