how to merge 2 login users?
i inadvertently created 2 login users. the 1st was created by going directly to the website. the 2nd was created the first time i ran a search on familysearch.org from the wikitree.com site. at that time i did not realized these were the same site. i have been making corrections for errors i have seen with both. but only today i realized there are 2 users when i tried to access my living person profile with the wrong user. i have 2 living person profiles, now, too. the 2 login user names are PhilHoward3 and PhilHoward8. the 2 living person profiles are G7ML-TQC and GQ7J-CN4. is there a way for me to fix this or does a staff member need to do this? i would like to keep the username PhilHoward3 but the other one has made the most changes. i can login to each if the staff member needs to confirm i have these 2.

You need to submit a 'Support' Case, to 'FamilySearch', through the 'Account' you WANT to KEEP, requesting the "Merging" of that 'Account' and the other (ie. Second) 'Account' that you do not want or need to keep.
.
Here is one of the ways on how you can access 'Support' Cases to submit:

.
And, here is where you fill-in the details of a 'Support' Case:
.
.
'Support' Cases can also be accessed from the "Feedback" 'Link' on the Bottom Menus of most pages/screens.
.
And, here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch'
.
How do I contact FamilySearch support?

I hope this helps.

there are probably ways you can indeed merge the two acocunts
but dont assume merging an acount means that all the data between the two accounts will magically be merged into family tree data the way you expect.
other than just having one user id - - what are you expecting the merging of these accounts to accoplish?
(what would happen if you just ignored one account and used the other?)
what would you be missing?
