Hard to Read
US, New York—Index to Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at New York City, 1897–1902 [M9Q9-7BY)

Some times you can only read the given name and not a surname or family name. Also it appears that the copies of these originals are poor quality. I work hard at adjusting the image and inverting the background, etc. Index instructions said to index if both the name and a date are on the record. Is that both names? Thank you.

Thank your for caring enough to ask.

And thank you for sharing the batch information, unfortunately it appears that you have submitted the batch and I cannot view it.

These records can be a challenge, some are very poor quality as you have indicated.

If you can determine just the given name and a date then the record should be indexed.

I invite you to join the Indexing Chat group and pose your indexing questions in that forum, the response time will generally be much quicker.
