Hard to Read US, New York—Index to Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at New York City, 1897–1902

US, New York—Index to Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at New York City, 1897–1902 [M9Q9-7BY)

Some times you can only read the given name and not a surname or family name. Also it appears that the copies of these originals are poor quality. I work hard at adjusting the image and inverting the background, etc. Index instructions said to index if both the name and a date are on the record. Is that both names? Thank you.

    And thank you for sharing the batch information, unfortunately it appears that you have submitted the batch and I cannot view it.

    These records can be a challenge, some are very poor quality as you have indicated.

    If you can determine just the given name and a date then the record should be indexed.
