I didnt say that

I was simply saying that most Spanish surnames are double (the name of the Father plus the name of the mother) - especially prior to 20th century.

when you wrote "vazqueztellez" - it appeared to me most likely that this was "Vazquez Tellez" - Vaquez from the father and Tellez from the mother. - but I could be wrong.
