For starters, I am NOT a User of "Family Tree Maker" ...

    .

    But ...

    That said ...

    .

IF, "Family Tree Maker" is one of the "Third Party" Applications that is "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' (which I think it is); THEN, I would have expected that there would have been provision to bring the 'FamilySearch Person Identifiers' (PIDs) from "Family Tree" to "Family Tree Maker", when they "Synchronise"!!!???

    .

The real question is that, IF, "Family Tree Maker" is one of the "Third Party" Applications that is "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' (which I think it is); THEN, where does "Family Tree Maker" put or store the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID) when they "Synchronise"!!!???

    .

Have you looked to see if the PIDs are located SOMEWHERE in (ie. against) an individual's/person's record in "Family Tree Maker".

    .

    Just my thoughts ...

    Just asking ...
