Translation of Swedish Birth Record needed

I believe the record below is for Anders Andersson, born 18 October 1751 in Stora Mellösa parish. I would like to know his parent's names (Is the father also Anders Andersson? and mother?) and places identified. Thank you!Andersson, Anders 1751 birth

    Yes the father is Anders Andersson and the mother is Christine (or some form of that) Andersdotter. I'm not sure on the locality it's hard to make out. Can you provide a link to the document?

    @DebbieRose DebbieRose

    You might want to see https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Stora_Mell%C3%B6sa_Parish,_%C3%96rebro,_Sweden_Genealogy for more info on the parish.

    Here is what I am reading:

    den 18 Oct födde Anders Andersson och hustru Kerstin Andersdotter barn i Ånkersta och döpte den 20 ejusem vid namn Anders

    Approximate translation:

    On October 18th was born to Anders Andersson and wife Kerstin Andersdotter a child in Ånkersta and baptized on the 20th of the same month with the name Anders

    In an index-style format:

    Birth Date: 18 October

    Baptism/Christening Date: 20 October

    Child's Name: Anders (Andersson)

    Father: Anders Andersson

    Mother: Kerstin Andersdotter

    Residence: Ånkersta

    Good luck in your research!

    @DebbieRose DebbieRose

    I also found some other documents that should be helpful. These are husförhör books (basically Swedish census) for the years 1752-1753 and 1762-1784.

    Here is what I am reading from this record:

    Anders Andersson, born 3 Jan 1721

    wife Cherstin (equivalent to Kerstin) Andersdotter born 12 Apr 1721

    son Lars (Andersson) born 3 Feb 1749

    son Anders (Andersson) born 18 Oct 1751

    1762-84: https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/2225/images/MN-1216_192__63-016800?ssrc=&backlabel=Return

    Here is what I am reading from this record:

    Lars Larsson (not sure about that name though) born 27 Jun 1738

    Kerstin And(ersdotter) born 12 Apr 1721 - it appears that the title "widow" was crossed out, so I am wondering if Anders Andersson (the father) died and she remarried with the Lars Larsson, but I'm not sure

    son Lars Andersson born 3 ? 1749 - this one is crossed out making the month hard to read - this also means he likely moved out or died between 1762 and 1784

    son Anders (Andersson) born 18 Oct 1751

    son Pär (Andersson) born 17 Oct 1755

    daughter Anna (Andersdotter, her birth record gives Anders Andersson as the father) born 21 Feb 1762, the record also notes that she died on 8 Jan 1763

    Hope that helps!
