About a year or so ago I learned who my biological father was and that I have four siblings. Both a
The 4 of them had the same mother and father. Their mother and my mother both had the same maiden name. I'm very curious to find out exactly if the two mother's were actually related and how but I don't know where to begin. My thought process is that it is likely their grandfather and my grandfather were related or possibly the grandfathers fathers. At this point my head starts spinning! Any advice is appreciated! Thank you.

Why don't you contact your birth relatives and talk to them? My sister is adopted, and she has been in touch with her birth family for years. Now that I have become the resident family history "go to" for all of my relatives, I have been inundated with information and photographs - you name it! For me, it is now one more branch on my enormous tree.

Do you have names? Have you tried searching obituaries?

Maybe the birth mothers are siblings? Do they have different first names?
I would look for death notices of the grandfather to see if it lists other family in the obit (providing he is deceased of course)
Or just google the birth mom's full name you never know what will turn up in a search

Does it tell you what your relationship to him likely is, through your mother? Following that backwards can often give you more info. E.g. if it says you’re likely first cousins, then it’s really likely your mothers were siblings, etc.
