Actually Dennis, I have another question. I am reading through the genealogy information but what is the main website that I would go to in order to get INTO the french records. Unfortunately I did not write the website down in my notes like I should have. I only have tables decennals - lavel and civil registration. I know I entered one place and was directed to the towns from there. Any thoughts?

This is the main web site for the wiki (note it is the same as the above - except "France_Genealogy" has been removed

    https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Main_Page

note that you can get to the Research Wiki by clicking on the "help" option in the main FamilySearch area.

I also find that I can go to google and type in something like "FamilySearch Research Wiki France"
