How to avoid duplications on a profile?
How do you remove a second instance of a person, basically if they had a second spouse, but they didn't? and how do you keep it from happening? Please see L2H5-MB4 for an example of what I mean

It looks like the child "Maria" has become attached to the mother twice . . .
solution is for the "second" instance of the wife - cllick the "attachment icon" next to the child "Maria" below the mother . . . "Remove" the child "Maria" with a reason like "duplicated attachment".

apologies - the child is Marie . . . not Maria!

Thank you so much. I hadn't thought to check to see if there was a child attatched to that second instance of the wife.

Looks like the "second instance" is caused by the fact that a child Marie MZ4Y-KW7 is attached to two sets of parents, (Lar Andreas Johnsen & Thomine Hermanson) and the other (A unknown Father/Add Spouse & Thomine Hermanson).
To fix this look at the child Marie attached to the unknown father and Thomine. Click on the box with the pencil icon, then click Remove or Replace next to Marie's name and remove those parents. Marie will stay attached to the correct parents (Lar Andreas & Thomine) and Thomine will only show up once not twice.

One other thing, if you do not see Marie under (Add Spouse and Thomine Hermanson) then just click on the word children under that couple to see her.
FS only shows the children under the Preferred set of parents unless you click on the Children drop down or if you click "Show All"
