Adell Johnson Grantham
Does anyone have any information about the birth and parents Adell Johnson Grantham? She was my great-great grandmother, but I cannot seem to find any information about her that isn't connected to my great-great grandfather Frank Grantham. She doesn't show up in any records I have searched prior to her getting married. All I know is that they were married young (he was 17 and she was 15) in 1926. They lived in Jesup, Wayne County, Georgia for their entire married life. However I know nothing about where she came from or who her parents were. I was told she might have been Cherokee, but no one in my family seems to know. Would this describe the lack of records? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

have you checked her death certificate to see if it mentions her parents?

I haven't been able to find her death certificate. Just her grave. Any suggestions on how I could find the certificate?
