Can't find slave/manumission records for gx3grandfather James Harris b.1800s in MD or DE (North Murd
James Harris (Sally) b.1800s? came from Eastern Shore, MD and settled in the North Murderkill-Kent County, DE area. Despite extensive research, I can't find records of his parents, slave or manumission, yet he and family were free. I really need some help. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I don't see Angela in my thread. Haven't been able to keep up due to my schedule. Please advise how I may connect with Angela, since there is no last name listed. Thank you.
