Hello,
I'm trying to build a family indexing group. I've created the group and I'm the admin for the group, but I'm having trouble inviting family members to my group. When I put in their contact name it comes up with a red exclamation and I can't invite

I'm trying this with my wife's information and I've tried using her contact name, user name, display name, and other formats of those listed in her settings for family search. I'm not sure what else to do to invite her.

Hello Adam,

Heather is a occupied with a family situation right now. Perhaps I can help.

Probably the best way to get people into your group is to sent them the URL for it in an email and invite them to visit the page join the group. If it is a private group you will need to approve them when they request to join.

 

And by the way @Steve Walker16​ that is the wrong Heather Jacobs that you at mentioned, Heather R Jacobs is the Group Manager for Indexing Chat.
