How would you translate "Vital Records" into Norwegian?

    There is no direct translation in Norwegian for Vital records - it will all depend on which vital record you are talking about. For example records concerning births, that are not church records, would be translated into fødselsregister or fødselsprotokoll, the same for marriage and death. Hope that makes sense.
