Do you mean that the family member DOES NOT actually appear on the ACTUAL 'Image" of the "Census"?
.
Or, do you mean that the family member DOES actually appear on the ACTUAL 'Image" of the "Census"; BUT, is NOT "Indexed" with that "Census" record?
.
There is a "BIG" difference.

Appears on census . Not indexed

@Mary Cline
.
It depends on WHO "Indexed" the record - ie. "FamilySearch" or some OTHER Entity (eg, "Ancestry_com" or "FindMyPast", etc).
.
If it was NOT "FamilySearch", you have to contact the OTHER 'Entity' directly.
.
If it was "FamilySearch"; then, there are a couple of options:
.
- Create/Raise a 'Support' Case on the matter;
.
- Raise/Post the matter in the 'Group' of "Indexing Chat" in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
.
- Raise/Post the matter in the "FamilySearch" ("Get Satisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum.
.
Personally, I WOULD do ALL three.
.
Provide as much detail a possible, including the URL.
.
I hope this helps.
