HTTP ERROR 400

Every time I login to Family Search this past month I get...

This page isn’t working

If the problem continues, contact the site owner.

HTTP ERROR 400

I find that if I modify URL and remove "&state= ......"; then I am able to continue using this site. This interruption is VERY annoying!

what is the url that you are going to

    you should be going to

    https://www.familysearch.org/

I get the impression you have bookmarked a page other than the sign on page.

what browser are you using? try testing a different browser and see if that makes a difference.

When you click "Sign In", it redirects you to a URL that contains a lot of your information. Try deleting all your FamilySearch cookies, restart your browser and try again. This might help if that URL redirection is pulling information from your cookies.

I do indeed go to https://www.familysearch.org/

I click "SIGN IN" in top right corner of page; enter my credentials; click "Sign In".

    That's when I get 400 error - every time!!

Then I remove last parameter from URL; hit enter and am able to proceed.

Sometimes the last parameter is simply &state=%2F

Other times; &state= is a very long string of gibberish.
