good question - the field should be updateable.
do you see an "edit" link near the death date?
can you send a screen shot?
Hi Dennis...Thank you for your response. I went back to the entry to take a screen shot and, lo & behold, I was able to change the date. I am not sure what I was doing wrong the first few times I tried, but all is well now. I am still learning all the in's and out's of FamilySearch. Thank you for your assistance! Judy
When I correct or edit the Death Date for one of my deceased relatives it will not get rid of the error messages.
