How do I connect a census record that contains members of two families?
The 1901 census record for the family of Joseph Warrington conflates two families that of Joseph (Joseph and his unmarried children Effie and Harrie) and that of his married daughter (Maggie (Warrington) Davis and her sons Joseph, Mervin and Douglas). I have attached the record correctly to Maggie and her sons and to Joseph and his kids, except for Maggie, who is listed as wife instead of daughter. How can I edit the Data in the index to reflect the right relationships to Joseph. Maggie as daughter and her three sons as grandsons? original record

I'm a little confused as to what you are asking to do. Are you wanting to fix the FamilySearch Index? Are wanting to fix the Canadian Archives index? Are you working on attaching the indexed records to the family as a source in Family Tree?
I think that you are saying to fix the index...but you can't really do that because the index is only showing what is indicated on the census.
The only things that you can do are:
- Write a significant Reason Statement as you attach the indexed record to the individual in Family Tree that explains who each person is and why you think it was recorded incorrectly in the census
- Add the same information in the Life Sketch for each individual in that particular household.
