how to modify (undo) part of my tree

There were two names quite similar, and I chose the wrong one.

    Short Answer: That depends ...

    .

When you say that "... chose the wrong one ...", do you mean you, selected the wrong existing individual/person already existing; OR, "Merged"/"Combined" the wrong individuals/persons, in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".

    .

    That is the question ...

    .

The 'fix' depends on the action taken.

    .

    Let us know the circumstances.

    .

Then, maybe we can suggest options.

I did not merge. To me, it looks like someone "created" a member of my family (LCWV-P8J) without realizing she already existed (L63V-BRL). She connected her to several people in my family, but assigned her to incorrect parents. I was able to disconnect her from my tree and found my correct ancestors. I am not sure about etiquette on a site like this. Should I let her know? I am concerned about the family members (still living) that she has assigned to (LCWV-P8J). What is the best way to connect them to my tree? I am quite certain about this, as I have met many of these people (including Belva, the mother of (L63V-BRL).

Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.
