Is there a way to search for servicemen that may have crossed paths with my Grandfather in WWII?

Thank you so much Randy for sharing this story with us. I love that you are willing to spread the joy of photos. I understand the value of finding the relatives to share with. You can bring so much joy with sharing like this!
I received photos from a distant relative that I found through DNA. She was able to share with me three photos of my grandmother. Our family only had three photos, so she doubled our collection. She also shared 100 photos of other relatives. I have not stopped being amazed at what happened as a result of spitting into a testtube.
I hope that you find family members that can feel this same joy to have a new little piece of their family member's life.
I would love to know how the family members react. Please continue to share the joy!

I’ve been able to talk (well email) 2 people from this. One has been pretty talkative and is currently looking for pictures of a family that visited her dad (one of the men in the pictures) when she was young. How cool would that be if it was my grandfather and my mother. The other person is a granddaughter and it sounds like her grandfather had a horrible time (like many others) when he returned. Horrible nightmares, etc so I’m not sure they really want to think or talk too much about it. I’ve tried contacting a couple other families that I believe to be relatives of those in the picture but haven’t heard anything back, which isn’t surprising with the amount of scams and stuff out there, not sure I’d answer or believe random messages from strangers either.
