K225-5PF refers to Mary Ann Curson (nee Turner) born in Norfolk, England.

I am trying to merge Mary Ann (no surname) ID:- K225-FPT with K225-5PF (above) but it appears there is a duplicate of K225-5PF referring to a Mexican lady called Maria Ramirez so I am unable to effect the merger.

    @Les Herridge
    Can you re-check those profile designators, please?

    It's easy to mistake a 5 for an S; other characters are also sometimes misread.

    Using the PIDs you listed above, in the main FamilySearch tree,
    K225-5PF is Maria Leoncia Cleta Jesus Ramriez
    https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/K225-5PF

    And K225-FPT is Wynfryde Wryght
    https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/K225-FPT

    Mary Ann Curson is K22S-5PF.
    https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/K22S-5PF

    Mary Ann with no surname is K22S-FPT
    https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/K22S-FPT

    If you'll use the PIDs I've posted, you should be able to merge without issue.

    Hope this helps.
