I am suddenly receiving 'BELL' notifications that are not related to my requests. How do i stop this. I have gone to the Notifications page. I don't understand which ones I should check out of.

Thank you

    @TrishAndersen Can you share a couple. If we can figure out where they originated would help.

    It appears that you joined and are following the Germany Research group. To stop the notifications, go to the group (by following the link I provided above), then look for the Following button at the bottom of the introductory section. Click it and confirm that you want to stop following the group. That should stop the notifications.

    Or you could leave the group, if you no longer want to be a member. That would also stop the notifications. But you can remain a member and not be notified of posts if you Unfollow the group.

    @TrishAndersen

    Alan's suggestion is a good one.

    If you want to stay involved but not get all notifications, you might open the bell and select the 4 lines in the upper right-hand corner. That will take you to your settings preferences. You can decide what you want to receive. With all the changes it is hard to keep up without some notifcation.
