Circular tree

Hi,
Thomas R Conroy who was born 1905, has himself as his son, which was born 1936 and died 1943.

Is there a way to make the Thomas R conroy jr to it's own profile? The source material is getting mixed up as well.

Not sure where you are seeing this. When I look at the family everything looks just fine and the change log does not show any recent changes in relationships.
Here is Thomas with his two wives and his one set of parents, neither of which is himself:
Here is Thomas Jr, with a different ID than Thomas with his one set of parents:
Nothing circular about this. Did you post the wrong link? There is nobody born in 1905, or being born in 1936 and died in 1924 here.

There's definitely something wrong though. If Thomas (the father) died in 1943 he cannot have married in 1954

@ColinCameron , you're certainly right. I didn't any circular pedigree so I didn't even look at more than the names. Thomas Jr has sources on him that showed he died at 6 months of age, so it isn't that it is confused who married Ann. so who did? For some reason, the user that created Thomas Jr.'s profile and put two sources on it didn't put any of the information from those source in the profile. I will do that to make it clear who Thomas Jr. is.
@Henry1985 , you are going to have to come back and explain more about the problems here.

Alright, the more I look, the more trouble I see. The father, Thomas, Sr., has two 1940 census records attached to him. One of them shows him living with his parents, is single, and born in 1927. The other shows him married, born 1905, with son Thomas Jr. The change log for Thomas Sr has a couple of merges for him. One or all of these should not have been done. The final surviving profile was created in 2018. However it has data (on the ordinance page) from 2007.
Since I've started on this, I am going to go ahead and untangle the two or three Thomas Conroys in this incorrectly merged profile. I have some things going on this morning and it is going to take some time to study things out fully before correcting the profiles. Please give me time to do this before making any changes to the profile. There is also a duplicate for Thomas Jr that needs to be merged in at the proper time. I'll post links to the profiles for the various Thomases when I'm done with them.

Finished. I still didn't run into any circular pedigrees. However two different Robert Conroys were confused. I've sorted out their two records. They are:
»» https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/P3S4-PJ7 who was born in 1905, married to Mildred Erikson, and had the son named Thomas born in 1936.
»» https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/L1WK-M49 who was born in 1927, married to Ann Lewis in 1954, and if they had children, they are not in Family Tree and could well all still be alive.
Note: L1WK-M49 is not the Thomas born in 1905 and never was! Do not try to turn him into that Thomas or you will just confuse the profiles and all the sources again!
