MEMORIES FIND - going away????

I was shocked to see this page suspended and apparently being considered for discontinuation

I use this item almost every day - in the work I do with memories items.

FamilySearch seems like its on a path backward, not forward.
So sad.

. . . not even some beta testing on what the engineers have designed so far??
some kind of feedback from the engineers on what their plans are would sure be nice. . .
Its hard to have patience when all we hear is silence . . .

I have not been the community for a while. But came here to resolve an issue but now I see this memories changes issues. Perhaps this has something to do with my problem.

I tried up upload a picture to memories of a person and while the picture uploaded the thumbnail on the page did not show the thumbnail. When I click on it, the picture shows up. I don't know if this is related or not?

As an aside and I have not been following the issues. However It's seems unwise to disable something before you have something in place or until you have decided to give clear guidelines for the future. I cannot understand the background of such issues, so I try to hold judgement, but seem poor practice.

In either case can anyone provide and advice as to where my problem lies. Has it been caught up in this change of policy.

What you are reporting is a new issue.

It is a BUG, and has been reported in the Memory Feedback group. The Memories Team is aware.

I did try to delete and upload it again after putting it in another editing program, thinking that the thumbnail somehow got mutilated by me. It appears not.

On the positive side at least the main picture is still good and not lost.

I will await a fix.
