It used to be that you could go to the gallery and start putting in name of a person who had sources attached and that person would come up and that you could add those sources to another person in your tree. I don't see that it does that any more?? can you fix gallery so it does that again?

@christine keeler do you mean Memories rather than Sources? If so, the whole Memories area of FamilySearch has been changed extensively fairly recently, and you would be best looking/posting in the dedicated Community Group .

I am talking about the Gallery which has changed alot as well. they need to change the gallery. it used to be that you could search for a person from your tree that had sources so you could attach them to another person in the family. now if you go into Gallery and you start putting in a name of someone that has a source, it does not search for the person. for instance, I have a source that I did for Signe Hilma Elgqvist and I want to attach that same source ( a congregation record pg 1886) to her daughter Lillie. Gallery doesn't recognise that I am looking for Elgqvist, so I have to go through 1000's of records to find Elgqvist congregation record pg 1886. It needs to be corrected so you can search for the person and attach the record. I hope this makes sense to you. I appreciate your help with this. Chris Keeler

But given your problem is with the recent changes to Memories, you really need to post in the Group I linked to above, that is where such issues are discussed and tracked.

I believe the feature is the “Source Box," not the memories gallery
Note that a memory can be used as a source, and also be tagged as a memory but are viewed in different tabs in FamilySearch
There is a search feature in the new memories gallery that allows you to search by word, title, etc0
