Can I request a private deceased person to be made public?

For context, there are reasons for a person page to be made private, besides being living. The Help page on the topic says that, for instance, this person may have information that would bring danger to the user who added it to FamilySearch. The help page also says that FamilySearch does not accept requests to make a person private. This made me wonder whether they accept requests to make a deceased person public. Would this work, esp. if all the information is publicly available elsewhere?

As far as I know, no, they don't take requests for the other direction, either.

I believe the best you can do is to create a new profile for the person, without mentioning the offending part of the world anywhere that the bot will look.
