Catalog not working in other languages

I've only actually tested with Hungarian, but presumably it's doing the same thing in other languagess.
If I have the interface language set to Magyar and try to go to the Catalog, I get "The page isn't redirecting properly".
If I go back and change to English, then it works fine — except that trying to change the interface language on the Catalog page appears to do exactly nothing.
I go to the Catalog. I click the globe at the top right. I choose the language and click Apply.
The page doesn't change: it's all in English.
If I click the globe again, the popup shows English as my current setting: "Apply" was entirely ignored, apparently.
…Or was it? If I click the tree at the top left, the homepage now shows up in Hungarian!
If I choose Keresés - Katalógus from there, I'm back to the error screen about redirects, but if I just use the back arrow on my browser, I get the Catalog. In English.

Since evening 4 Febr. 2025. Does work in English, Spanish (and presumably similar languages) but not in Norwegian (and presumably similar languages) either. Error message 'too many redirects' and 'remove your cookies' - but that does not make a difference, nor does refreshing, logging out, closing and restarting browser (Chrome).

Eep, typo in the first line, but I don't want to re-do all the screenshots!
And it's not just the Catalog: the chart views are doing it, too. In fact, if one hasn't figured out that the homepage works, then it looks unrecoverable: starting on the English Catalog page, but with an attempt at changing the language, choosing Family Tree - Tree also results in the redirects error. You can't change the language to English on the catalog page, because it thinks it already is the current setting, but other pages think it has been changed — but the error page doesn't have any of FS's buttons.

Same problem using Firefox when trying to switch from English to Nederlands:

Just accessed the catalog in English, switched to French, did a search by location, and all seems to work as expected.
Windows 10, Chrome, both fully updated.1 -
Huh. It works in German, too — but still not in Hungarian.
The site is all sorts of confused: I switched to German on a chart view, which was fine, so then I tried Magyar, and got the redirects error page. The back arrow resulted in the chart view in German, but when I clicked the tree at the top left, it took me to the home page in Hungarian.
The catalog and chart views are also broken in Polish. I went back to the chart view (in German) and chose Polski, which resulted in the redirects error. Back arrow, then click the tree, homepage in Polish.
It seems to me that they've made some sort of change in the URL scheme which they've updated/corrected in the "major" languages like English, French, and German, but not in the "smaller" ones like Hungarian and Polish.

Yes, I tried Magyar and got results similar to yours. I tried Italian and German, and the results were as expected - "normal."

@Ashlee C. Can you check on this report, please? Thanks.

Dutch seems to have an issue as well: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/172913/portrait-view-no-longer-loads-in-dutch-nederlands

Hi everyone. The engineers were aware of the problem. It should be fixed by now. Please give it a try and let us know what you find. Thanks!

I still get the "This page isn't working" if I try Magyar/Hungarian, even after clearing FS cookies.

I guess the fix didn't stick. The engineers are working on it.

mod note: Two discussions were merged into one to keep all the information together.

@Ashlee C., the fan chart now works in Hungarian, but the Catalog still doesn't. (Same redirect error page as in my post.)

Slight improvement: the catalog now opens (in Hungarian) if you have the interface set to Hungarian, but the globe doesn't work on that page: neither switching from nor to Hungarian works — the page stays in whatever language it was in already.
