How to resolve: net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Hi,

In the updated app 5.0.5 I keep getting an error since today when I look try to look up records (before getting to the search engine) : net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I already checked for updates, cleared cache in app and restarted the app aswell as the Android phone.

On the Chrome website on the phone the search engine does work.

Could you please inform me how to resolve this issue?

Searching for records on the mobile Family Tree app uses the website — the webpages are simply shown within the app. There were some changes made recently to the website that might add a redirect, but that shouldn't normally create a situation where there are too many redirects.

In any case, I just tried searching for records on my phone (I'm also running version 5.0.5) and it worked fine. I know that some fixes have been made to the website today. Perhaps if you just try it again now, it will work for you.
