How do I use the Relatives Around Me using my desktop computer? Thanks.

My understanding/experience is that if it's not RootsTech or shortly after, you don't.

This recent Help Article indicates only in the App. Given the required proximity of 100 feet (30.5 meters), even if you could get it to work on your computer, it would only show members of your household.

Thank you for your replies. Can I get it to work on my computer as that is all I have to work with?

If you are specifically asking about Relatives Around Me, that feature is only available on the mobile Family Tree app. It relies on the location services (GPS) built into the phone to determine who is also using the feature while in close proximity to you. So you simply can't use that feature on your computer. Sorry.
Features like Relatives at RootsTech are connected to your event registration, not your physical location, so they can be used on the website independent of your physical location (R@RT has a minor location-based aspect to it, but even that depends on the app communicating your position).

If you installed an Android emulator on your computer you might be able to run the app in that.

@MandyShaw1 And it would still only reflect members of the poster's household. Or, possibly the next apartment/flat in a multi-household building. And that's IF the desktop computer has GPS location software.

Yes, good point, I didn't think that through.

(relativefinder.org) did have a feature that would alow you to connect with any one if you called them and had them sign on to relativefinder. This feature is no longer available but their is a work around. You can find an approximat relation to them if you know the id number of one of their deceased ancesters.
