How can I search for a death certificate?
On FamilySearch one of my Great Aunts is listed as deceased however she is not listed nor is there any death record or certificate to be found on either Find A Grave, Ancestry or Google. Her name is (name removed) born in 1937 in (location removed) to (names removed). Her last known address was in Albuquerque, NM in 2005 to 2020. I have found ties to last names of (names removed).

I would contact the person who marked her Deceased to ask what evidence they have (assuming there is no relevant source on her FamilySearch Family Tree profile, obviously). You should be able to do this by clicking on their username from the change log.

@NitaSines Can you clarify why you are looking for a death certificate? Is it because you know this person is deceased and you want to attach the source? Or are you concerned the person has been marked deceased but is still alive?

Ashlee C the reason I am asking is because someone on FamilySearch has marked her as deceased. She is my Great Aunt and no one in the family has heard of her death as we all live in different states. The last I knew she was the last survivor out of her sibilings and back. I have not been able to find any documentation as to her death.

Since you have evidence your great aunt was still living in 2020, it's unlikely that you will find a death certificate online. Only a very few locations make records that recent available.

I see. In that case, I edited your post to protect your great aunt's privacy and to make it compliant with the Community Code of Conduct.
If you believe she is still alive, there is a way to change her profile back to living. It is outlined in this Help Article:
