Do you mean you added them, or someone else did?

If the former, the Delete Person option should work unless someone else has changed the profile since you created it.

If the latter, we're most probably talking about an incorrect relationship to a profile that really belongs to an unrelated family. You just need to lose the relationship, not the profile. Click on the pencil icon for the relevant couple or child/parents relationship that links the profile to your part of the tree, and you will get a Remove button. Be sure to add a clear reason statement. This obviously assumes there are no sources attached that back up the relationship in question.

If there are Sources attached to this 'mistakenly added' person or if there are 'clues' in the change log, do a little digging to see if you can find the proper relationship for the individual you want to 'detach'. Try to not just 'cut them loose' unless of course there's nothing for you to go on…. With that little bit of extra legwork you can potentially help find the proper 'home' for the individual
