Saving a Family Tree

What part of FS's vast sprawl are you talking about?
The Family Tree that's accessible from the top menu on the main site is a single, collaborative tree, intended to have one and only one profile per deceased person. It has a full change log for each of those profiles, meaning that it is not possible to permanently lose one's work there: if someone makes a change that you believe to be wrong, you can restore the previous conclusions. (Yes, it can get both convoluted and tedious, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel — and no, it's not the headlights of an oncoming train.)

If you want to save your branch of the collective great tree, you'll need one of the tree management programs listed in the Solutions Gallery.

@Robert82211 If you mean you can't find people that you've contributed to, under the 'FamilyTree' tab, click 'Recents' for the names of the last 50 people you've looked at.
If you mean that you're losing work because it's not saving edits or added info, make sure to click the 'save' button first, not the 'X' button which will cancel the change.
