Where can i find the source images?
Is there a way obtain the actual source image of a record that doesn't have the image available?
I came across a last name that resembles mine and I want to verify if the record was transcribed correctly. My last name is Wandurraga and the record in question says "Wandaraguir". Seems like a very interesting lead, so I would love to see the source image.

The DGS or film containing that record also holds records as recent as 1948. That means the entire DGS is restricted from online viewing for privacy reasons.
A project is in process to break apart those DGS that cover long spans of time. Until that happens, those DGS can only be viewed in Salt Lake City.

I'm about 2000 miles away from Salt Lake City, UT. Do you think it would be possible to request a copy of the record through a local Familysearch center. or by mail?

Local FamilySearch Centers do not have access. For a few years, FS offered a free email service to request a copy from SLC, but that option has ended.
I generally recommend finding a Utah-local researcher. Cyndi's List can be useful for locating someone.

Thanks for your help. I will check Cindy's list.
