I keep getting 'aw snap' in the middle of correcting place names

I have been volunteering to correct place names and today asked for a batch of 50. I keep getting partway trhough the batch - about 25 plus, and keep getting error message 'aw snap' . The only options seem to be to ask the page to reload - which then promptly wipes out my work to that point, or to use the back button and again acts as ifI had not started. I do not want to try again quite frankly as I have just wasted round40 minutes. Something is wrong. The error does not seem to be for a particular record, but seems to be when I am searching for an option to fit place names that are quite incorrect, not mildly incorrect.
