Family Search Abuse
For a few years now, some people have pretended to be genealogists to sell citizenship that they do not yet have access to and think they are owners of the Family Search website. They make the lives of people who spent their entire lives collecting data from their ancestors awful. Other than that, they change the names of cities with spellings that did not exist in the past (a system was developed to check the correct name according to the year and is not respected). They use the clue note system to post hints that they will continue with their behavior after being notified by Family Search staff. And also they aren't directly related to these parents (but another ones). Will the platform never do anything to inhibit these type of thing? I love it, but it's hard to go to the personal and professional goal.

What is the 'clue note system'?

I agree. Days I feel like I spend more time being a security guard rather than a researcher.
