How are Verify Places contributions stored / attached to records?

Out of curiosity I went in and checked several of the records that I had verified the place for. None of my verified places showed up. All of them still reflected the original location that had been entered. Yet, these verified places show up in my temple ordinance count so they are clearly stored somewhere, somehow.

I'm curious, if they are not actually updated the record for the individuals, then how is this data being used, and where is it being stored?

I have figured it out. You don't see the contribution when you look at the file, but if you click on the events in the pop up it shows it in very small writing underneath the original location.

ie, the original location is displayed by default on the file, but you can open that location and see what has been entered via this feature.

I see what you're seeing now. Thanks for figuring it out!
