A grave photo I uploaded has vanished. I am led to believe it exists in my Gallery of photos, but I don't seem to be able to find this any more.

The deleted grave photo may still be in the **Recently Deleted** folder on the FamilySearch website or the Memories mobile app. To restore the deleted photo, follow these steps:
On the FamilySearch website:
1. Sign in to the FamilySearch website.
2. Click on **Memories**.
3. Click on **Gallery**.
4. Click on **Recently Deleted**.
5. Select the photo you want to restore.
6. Click on **Actions**.
7. Click on **Move to My Memories**.
On the Memories mobile app:
1. Open the Memories mobile app.
2. Display your recently deleted memories.
- For Android: Tap the **three lines** in the top left corner, then tap **Recently Deleted**.
- For Apple iOS: Tap the **three dots** in the bottom right corner, then tap **Recently Deleted**.
3. Tap on **Select**.
4. Tap on **Select Memories**.
5. Tap on each photo you want to restore.
6. Tap on the **three dots**.
7. Tap on **Restore Memories**.
Please note that memories cannot be accessed on Family Tree Lite. You will need to use the Family Tree Memories app or the full version of the FamilySearch website [1].

Randy, those instructions only apply if the user has deleted the photo and decides later they didn't mean to and want to restore it. That does not seem to be the case for this poster.

Alison, do you have thousands of photos in your gallery? If yes, you may want to check out this discussion regarding disappearing images:

Looks like you are getting lots of good suggestions in this discussion. I would also suggest that, if the image you uploaded had a title or details that you added, you can run a search for it in your gallery. Find the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner. There are also additional ways to search for a memory. . . at the very top of your FamilySearch Home screen, click Memories, then click Find.

Also another good tip - is that if you happened to know the file name of the item - you can actually do a find on the file name (or a partial portion of the file name) - and you can get right to it. (but of course many times you don't know what the file name was - but if you do - it comes in very handy)
Of course this "find" must be done using the magnifying glass "search" on your gallery view.
You cannot do such a file name find - using the general "Memories" find option - and thus you can only do such a file name search on your own items and not other people's items.0
