Can you improve "Relatives" section for RootsTech?
Please resolve the frustration with the relatives segment of RootsTech. My mother upon the death of her mother, at age three went to live with her aunt, (a sister of her father) and the husband of that aunt.
At RootsTech many of the connections are not related to my mother but rather are shown to descend from the lineages of her aunts husband. It is very frustrating.

The Relatives at RootsTech app functions directly from what is posted in the collaborative FamilySearch Family Tree. Anyone with a free account can edit any connection for profiles of deceased persons.
If your mother's profile is not correctly attached, you can fix it. If she is deceased, you can ask for specific assistance. If she is living we can't help because we can't see her profile.

As far as I know, neither the Tree's nor RootsTech's relationship calculators take the type of relationship (biological versus not) into consideration. This means that if a step-parent has been entered in the Tree, then both functions will happily show the step-parent's family for the step-child, regardless of what has or hasn't been marked about the nature of the relationship.
What I don't know is whether either calculator pays any heed to the "preferred" status of a set of parents. Lacking the correct "direction" of a step-relationship among my ancestors, I haven't come up with a way to test this.
