View all people
I like to be able to see all relatives on my computer screen when I call up the Tree. Right now there is choice that I need to make to allow the Preferred Spouse to be seen but not other Spouses. Why is that? Why is there a restriction?
Remarriage is a common occurrence and along with remarriage there could be different children. To force someone to decide on a Preferred Spouse doesn't recognize that real possibility. It also forces someone to decide which spouse will be designated Preferred and is going to be viewed every time the Tree is accessed.
The software is already capable of linking multiple people together. It can't be that difficult to find a way to show all family relationships in a single view. The structure of multiple spouses could be established by a date that clearly shows when they became part of the family.
This is an easy to use program that I would gladly recommend but the spouse restriction may mean I'll need to look elsewhere to find a more accommodating application that recognizes the how the modern world is structured.
Thanks for your help like this.

It's an issue of available screen real estate and graphic limitations. You will likely need standalone genealogical software to accomplish what you want. Even then, it's not easy to show everyone together.
