Member Youth w/ Living Great Grandparents Have Gaps in Trees
I created an account for my 11-year-old and found that because she has three living great grandparents, her tree had three big gaps. Easy for me to use the person ID's from my own tree to fix the problem; however, for many users this is a significant obstacle requiring them to reach out to someone for help (most won't).
These gaps limit the user's ability to get family names from those specific lines using Ordinances Ready and can impact other discovery experiences on the site.
Since we already have the information from the parents' trees if they are members of the Church and already fill in four generations, can we just add one additional generation automatically?

This is a situation that is ideal for creating a Family Group. If you have a fairly complete four generations in Family Tree, create a Family Group and copy in the profiles for your living relatives (that you have permission from to do), including your copy of your 11 yo, then just send an invitation to your 11 yo to join the group. Then your child won't have to repeat all the work of adding information, stories, and memories that has already been done. For more information, go to:
, scroll to the Family Group Trees box, and click on Try It.0
