Do I index a petition for citizenship? and if so what is the record date?

    Petitions for Citizenship are indexed.

    With this type of document, the Affidavit of Witness section is on the back of the Petition (the left side of Image 2). The record date for the Petition is directly above the Oath. The date is preceded by the phrase that says, in part, Subscribed and sworn to before me by the above-named petitioner. The record date for this Petition is October 30, 1929.
