Possible tech glitch with 'view relationship' button

James Rossiter LZBR-ZK3 is brother to my 5th great-grandmother Anne Rossiter KD1Q-CYV and when I click on the view relationship button he shows up as my 5th great-granduncle (this is good). When I use the view relationship button for any of his descendants (or his wife Miriam LW5Z-PZB) it is almost always showing 'relationship unknown'. I was told to try linking them as biological relationship type and when I first did this it worked. Now it is always showing 'relationship unknown'. I went over the entire chain again and verified everything and even marked each one as biological and still the same. This does not seem to happen for the downlines of other siblings of James and Anne (e.g. G7TQ-CCY). Can someone help me with this mystery please?

@Rob Peck The connections for James and his family look good to me, so I'd assume this is a glitch. I checked a few of my 5th great-granduncles and their wives and children, but didn't get that issue.

I've had a few strange bugs before, including erroneously showing people as deleted. I wonder if these bugs are due to internet/server lag, or if it's something else. Have you checked for this bug using other browsers? I know that Firefox always gives me an error message if click the 'feedback' button.

    Hello

I have a similar problem on my family tree. My 2nd Cousin 2x removed is married and they have 3 children. However, when I click on the relationship for the children is says relationship unknown. On my Ancestry tree they show as my 3rd cousin 1x removed. There are 3 children and they all are showing as unknown. Can you he;p me with this please. Jean Lewis from NZ.

@JFLewis , if you'd like help with a specific relationship, helpers will need to know the Person ID for your "2nd Cousin 2x removed." Also, please confirm that the relationship shows correctly for that cousin — that will help in narrowing down the problem with their children.

Sorry, about that. The name of the mother is Mary Jane Bowley MVSL-JWY

    Her children are:

    Ivy Webb GqVW-VK1

    Thanks

Mary Jane is coming up as my 14C2R as are her siblings.

Her nieces and nephews are coming up as my 15C1R.

But her children, as for the OP, are coming up as no relationship.

Their father is coming up as husband to my 14C2R.

There is nothing odd about the children's profiles or child/parents relationships that I can see, this feels like a problem in the relationship algorithm.
