    Hi Mark Users such as you and I, cannot make changes or remove the read only settings. Here is an article explainint how you can get changes made to read only records.

    @Mark2448, you can't remove the read only setting yourself. You might be able to request FamilySearch correct data or relationships. Of course there is always the possibility that the read only flag was placed in error. Contact FamilySearch support if you think that is the problem.

    There have been several reports recently of some users finding that all profiles are showing Read Only. Without more details, we don't know if this poster is having that issue.
