Indexing error
Amiel Ehlmann listed on the 1900 census for St. Genevieve County, Missouri is incorrect. This census record is for St. Charles County, Missouri and St. Charles county is the correct location according to the census page.

That is not an indexing error but a corruption of the database by the faulty placename algorithm.
