This is a false family sight. None of the information is verified. They have a dear friend's **** and murdered daughter posgtes as the daughter of her murder and also the mother of her murderer. Not just one place but about a dozen places.

They refuse to change the lies. They want her to be listed as the mother of her murderer for all eternity.

Kristy Denice Ray was the only child of her parents. She was a student at Northeast Mississippi Community College who dreamt of attending Mississippi State University. She had a boyfriend of three years and worked at a local video store and also at a bank where her mother was also employed.

On January 29, 1993, she and her mother left the bank and planned to see each other at home. Kristy had plans for that evening with her boyfriend. When her mother tried to call her at home, there was no answer. When her mother arrived at home, she noted that Kristy's car was gone and she found a ransom note in exchange for Kristy. Her mother contacted both Kristy's boyfriend and the video store where she had a second job, but no sign of her was found. Police were contacted, and search of the family home revealed signs of forced entry with the screen of Kristy's bedroom window had been cut and items strewn about.

Local and federal investigations revealed Kristy's body buried in a wooded area under a pile of leaves. Her kidnapper had been arrested and led investigators to her body.

The family of the man who kidnapped and murdered Kristy Denice Ray had found a similar ransom note and had it given to the sheriff's office. The man was due to go on trial for aggravated assault and **** in a different criminal incident. He was convicted and sentenced to 66 years in prison on that crime.

As of this writing (2023), the murderer is on death row for the murder of Kristy Denice Ray.

Her parents were interviewed for a program on the ID Channel. Her mother said that she goes to Kristy's bedroom to remember and mourn for her daughter.

@Captain Michael J. Whisman Thank you for your comment. In answer to your comment, it is not the FamilySearch Tree that has this relationship verified.  It is the computer aided indexing that has it: Clarke County Tribune and CBS - 12 WJTV.
