To-do list question
I am a worker at our local FamilySearch center. When I work on my own family at the center and put something on my to-do list, and then when I go home and work on my personal computer, that to-do item doesn't appear on my list at home and vice versa. Is there a way to sync the to-do list to multiple computers?

Hmm… the To-Do List is tied to your account; not to a computer. Try resetting the FamilySearch Cookies on your home computer: www.familysearch.org/cookies to see if this helps.

I have just done some experimenting with the to-do list. About 15 hours ago, I opened four FS web sessions; two were on my desktop and the others were on my phone. On each device, one was in my preferred Chrome browser and the other was in Edge. In each session, I created a distinctive to-do item.
All of these combinations retained only their own single item, after page refreshes, sign-out and sign-in, and even after restarting the devices. At that point, I called it a day.
Today, 16 hours later, I set up four sessions again. The situation was unchanged; each session had only its distinctive item. Then, I cleared the FamilySearch cookies, as suggested. That made no difference.
I rarely use the web browser on my phone for FS. When I first set up the two sessions there yesterday, the other contents of my list were identical to the latest changes that I had made on my desktop a couple of weeks ago. So, there is some sort of syncing between sessions. Maybe it is infrequent, unlike most other scenarios.
One thing that I noticed that is synced very quickly is the collapsed/expanded state of the Completed Items section at the bottom of the list. If I collapse or expand that section on one session, that change is reflected almost immediately on other sessions (after just a page refresh).
This seems to me like a server-side caching issue, so I'm going to leave it for a day or two and see what happens.

Today, Oct 13, nothing has changed with regard to sessions I open on my desktop or phone. Each has only the one item that I had created on that session three days ago.
However, yesterday I had an opportunity to use another desktop computer that I had never used before; it was at a completely different physical location. When I opened Chrome and Edge sessions in FamilySearch, the to-do lists contained all four items that I had created two days previously. I created an item in each of those sessions. Neither of those items turned up in the other session at that time (even after signing out and in), nor have they turned up today on my home desktop or phone.
@KatherineStokerSingleton, I haven't tried these multi-device, multi-browser scenarios before. Can you say if what you are doing used to work in the past or has it always behaved this way? This might help FamilySearch Engineering to fix the problem.

I'm not sure but it seems like long ago, the two computers shared with each other, so I could find it on either computer, but it has been quite awhile that it doesn't transfer to the other computer. The list of most recent people viewed always updates on both computers, so often I can find where I was working on the other computer from that list. But it's kind of frustrating when I get to my other computer and the to-do list doesn't contain the information I wrote on the first. I did refresh my cookies, but haven't checked out the computer at the FamilySearch center yet to see if it helped.

I think that's enough to be going on with. I'll flag this discussion and ask a moderator to consider passing it on to the engineers.

@KatherineStokerSingleton Thank you for reporting this problem. This is a known issue, although it is intermittent. The engineers are working on it. Thank you for your patience.
